EAST PHOENIX - PHOENIX CINEMA

The design was adapted from the Cinema's logo showing the mythical phoenix rising from the ashes.  The Phoenix in East Finchley has reinvented itself many times since it was first opened in 1910.  It is the oldest working cinema in the UK.  The window was dedicated to the memory of Ralph Crisp, a tireless local campaigner and close friend.
